Living with and Loving Pets with Behavioral Challenges Support Group

You love your pet. But living with their behavioral challenges takes a toll on you as a pet owner and often strains your relationship with your pet and your relationships with other members of your household.

Examples of behavioral challenges include but are not limited to:

  • your pet is injuring itself or others

  • your pet seems stressed out most of the time

  • your pet is scared of loud noises

  • your pet is reactive to other animals or humans

  • you are unable to leave your pet home alone

We’re here to help

Join us for a free, 90 minute support group facilitated by Valerie Bogie, a Behavior Consultant and the Administrative Manager for Insight Animal Behavior Services.

Support group meetings take place once a month.  The day of the week and start time vary to help us accommodate participant schedules as best as we can.

The goal is to offer support around the emotions, stressors, and impacts of having a pet with behavior challenges.

Registering will allow you to join any currently scheduled and future support group meetings of your choice!

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meetings.

This group is open to anyone- you do not have to be an Insight client to participate.

Please note, Valerie is not a licensed counselor and this support group does not take the place of seeking professional mental health services.
