Renée Yacoub
Client Care Coordinator
Renée grew up and attended college in upstate New York. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from SUNY Oswego in 1998 and from SUNY Delhi with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2001. Renee then moved to New York City and began work at The Animal Medical Center (AMC) where she worked for 10 years.
While working with the Orthopedic Department at the AMC, Renee was introduced to the field of Canine Rehabilitation. She received a certification in Canine Rehabilitation in 2006 from The University of Tennessee and became a founding member of the Rehabilitation Department at the AMC. To improve her skills as a practitioner, she began taking classes with Tallgrass Acupressure Institute and The Canine Rehabilitation Institute. In 2009, she received a certification in Canine Acupressure and her second certification in Canine Rehabilitation in 2010.
In 2011, Renée moved to Germany husband, John. While living in Germany, Renée adopted a 1.5-year-old Maltese with various behavior issues. This experience sparked an interest in canine behavior, the importance of positive reinforcement training, and the relationship between behavior and pain. In 2017, Renée and her family relocated to Chicago, IL where she began work as a Rehabilitation Therapist at Integrative Pet Care (IPC). During her time at IPC, Renée completed a certification in Canine Massage and took the role of Therapist Team Leader.
In August of 2023, Renée and her family moved from Chicago to Dutchess County, New York and she began work with Insight as a Client Care Coordinator.
In her free time, Renee enjoys biking, snowboarding, spending time with her family, and reading.
