Sarah Walangitan

Client Care Coordinator

Sarah grew up in central Pennsylvania, spent her college years in Michigan, then found her home in Chicago. In 2017, she completed a Master’s in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Around the time she was beginning her career in law librarianship, Sarah and her husband adopted their beloved Australian Cattle Dog, Buca, who soon became a client at Insight. 

Loving Buca had a profound impact on Sarah’s understanding of not only how to take care of animals well, but also people. She knows the complexities of navigating having a family, a pet with behavioral concerns, and the burden of managing it all. Sarah’s career has focused on making confusing and stressful experiences more manageable by providing information, resources, and referrals. She hopes to pull from this experience and help clients feel confident and informed as they progress through Insight’s process. 

In her free time, you can find Sarah gardening, cooking, crafting with her kids, and reading at least three books at once.
